Cadillac CTS Wagon By Thomas Rosquin of Detroit Cadillac Dealers If you thought that General Motors was done with the Cadillac CTS you were wrong! First was the CTS, then there was the CTS-V with more Horse Power, and now General Motors is going to build a hot rod CTS-V sports wagon. According to General Motor’s Vice Chairman, Bob Lutz, the new CTS-V sports wagon is going to enter the market for hot rod station wagons. He also confirmed that not only will there be a new sports wagon in the works but there will be a 556 horsepower CTS-V version of the new Cadillac luxury hauler. The CTS-V wagon is a hot performer and makes a zero to sixty in less than four seconds. Some critics think this is an interesting move for General Motors. It seems like a win-win for GM as it won’t cost them very much to simply drop a bigger engine into the new CTS sports wagon, and they’ll get a whole new car to add to the line up. The new wagon could claim some of the market still competing over the Chrysler Dodge Magnum, but critics say the CTS-V wagon will not add to General Motor’s corporate fuel economy pretense.
